  • Identify and report hazards and incidents.

Qualifications and experience

  • A full-time bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation or Electronics Engineering from an accredited university is required.
  • MME (Ministry of Municipality and Environment) engineering accreditation is mandatory. Applicants who do not already have it must be willing to obtain it during the probation period.
  • CPEng status, or currently working toward it, will be considered an advantage.
  • Extensive experience in instrumentation and control engineering for offshore oil and gas projects is required.
  • Strong understanding of discipline design and engineering, with experience across multiple discipline areas, is expected.

Technical skills and tools

  • Experience with Smart Plant / SPI.
  • Ability to use instrument sizing and calculation tools, including control valve sizing, orifice sizing, and voltage drop calculations.
  • Knowledge of instrument air consumption calculations for pneumatic instruments.
  • Understanding of power consumption and heat dissipation calculations.
