Job description
About the company
A1 is creating an AI smart assistant designed to help everyday users with conversations, errands, organisation, and workflow execution. The product is built around dependable long-running workflows, persistent context, and successful completion of real-world tasks. It must be able to handle multi-step reasoning, work with external tools, and stay dependable even when model outputs are not fully predictable.
Role overview
This opening is for a recruiter who will help run end-to-end hiring for A1’s product, engineering, and business teams. The role is highly hands-on and focused on execution. You will partner closely with recruiters and hiring managers to keep recruiting activity accurate, efficient, and moving forward. It is a strong fit for someone at the start of their career who wants practical exposure to high-quality technical hiring.
Key responsibilities
- Assist across the complete hiring cycle for multiple roles, including sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and offer support.
- Find candidates through a combination of channels such as professional networks, referrals, job boards, and direct outreach.
- Review resumes and run initial candidate conversations to evaluate baseline fit, interest, and communication ability.
- Arrange interviews, manage scheduling, and gather feedback from both candidates and hiring managers.
- Keep candidate information accurate and current in the applicant tracking system, with strong data hygiene and process discipline.
- Contribute to recruiting initiatives and process improvements as the team expands, including work on candidate experience and employer branding.
- Support smooth hiring operations so the process remains organised, responsive, and fast-moving.
Requirements
- 0 to 2 years of experience in recruiting, HR, operations, coordination, or a similar field.
- Fresh graduates with a genuine interest in recruiting are encouraged to apply.
- Excellent organisational ability and a strong eye for detail.
- Good written and spoken communication skills.
- Comfort using Google Sheets, Excel, and basic applicant tracking systems.
- Self-driven, open to feedback, and eager to learn.
- Able to juggle several tasks at once and complete work reliably.
- Previous recruiting exposure is useful but not mandatory; attitude, curiosity, and strong execution are the main priorities.
Why join
- Gain practical exposure to technical recruiting in a small team with high standards.
- Collaborate closely with experienced recruiters, engineers, and hiring managers.
- Take on meaningful responsibility from the beginning.
- Work in a flat environment where initiative and delivery matter more than hierarchy.
- Build toward roles such as Talent Partner, Recruiter, or specialist technical hiring positions.
- Receive competitive pay and opportunities for career growth.
