About the Company

This position is with a prominent large government entity dedicated to making a significant positive impact on New Zealanders' lives currently and in the future.

Role Overview

We are looking for a Domain Architect focused on End User Technology who will lead the architectural vision, strategic planning, and roadmap development for the end-user technology workspace. This is an immediate 4-month contract role requiring a specialist who can connect business needs with technical delivery to ensure seamless and valuable digital workplace solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, refine, and drive the overall end-user technology strategy and End User Computing (EUC) frameworks within the organization.
  • Convert complex business requirements into comprehensive technical architecture and designs primarily within the Microsoft technology landscape.
  • Work closely with IT service delivery teams and business stakeholders toward enhancing Service Management frameworks and operational capabilities.
  • Offer expert architectural guidance on ServiceNow, including its alignment, integration, and platform optimization.
  • Create detailed architectural blueprints, roadmaps, as well as high and low-level design documents to guide successful operational transitions.

Essential Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Domain or Enterprise Architect with solid technical expertise in Microsoft technologies, modern desktop management, and EUC environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to align IT service delivery with architecture, particularly experienced in ServiceNow architecture and its implementation.
  • Strong skills in producing architectural blueprints, technology roadmaps, and effectively communicating complex technical ideas to senior non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience working within large government or public sector organizations handling complex enterprise architectures is highly valued.
  • Availability to start immediately or very soon to support this 4-month engagement.
  • Relevant professional certifications are desirable.
  • Minimum education level required: College/Pre-University.
