Job description

Overview

This is a permanent full-time, on-site role based in Burwood, Sydney. The organisation is a long-established and trusted name in the Australian medical sector, operating as a close-knit team with a strong commitment to improving professional development for GPs nationwide through podcasts, webcasts, learning modules, and video-led learning.

The position begins with a strong emphasis on priority digital content initiatives and then expands into the wider Marketing Communications function. It suits someone who enjoys coordinating projects, developing content, working with stakeholders, and contributing to digital media in a mission-driven environment.

What you will do

You will help coordinate digital content programs, maintain stakeholder relationships, and support the creation, planning, and delivery of educational material across several online channels.

Content coordination and stakeholder management

  • Develop productive working relationships with more than medical not-for-profit organisations.
  • Communicate regularly with stakeholders to identify, source, and organise relevant digital content opportunities.

Digital content initiatives

  • Take ownership of important digital content projects from start to finish.
  • Support micro-learning programs.
  • Coordinate podcast production and release activities.
  • Help deliver short-form video content initiatives.

Video and multimedia support

  • Work alongside videographers and production partners to help deliver engaging short-form video assets.
  • Contribute to content planning, production timelines, approvals, and publishing steps.

Podcast and channel administration

  • Manage podcast workflows from pre-production through to publication.
  • Support guest coordination, scheduling, and content preparation.
  • Assist with podcast promotion and audience growth efforts.

Community and distribution

  • Help develop and strengthen online communities across relevant digital channels.
  • Coordinate content distribution across the website, podcasts, webinars, social media, and other digital marketing platforms.

Experience and skills needed

The ideal candidate has experience coordinating or project managing digital marketing, content, or communications work, and is comfortable balancing several priorities at once. Strong organisation, clear communication, relationship-building ability, and experience managing digital content across multiple channels are all important.

Desired background

Experience supporting video production or multimedia projects, managing online communities, and working in healthcare, education, professional services, or not-for-profit settings would be an advantage.

Why this role stands out

This opportunity offers a chance to influence the direction of marketing and support new innovations. It also includes travel to interstate events within Australia.
