About the Role

BLA, a leading wholesale distributor in the marine industry, is seeking a detail-oriented and creative Digital Marketing Coordinator to join our team in Brisbane, Queensland. This full-time, onsite position offers a fantastic opportunity to leverage your digital marketing skills within a dynamic company that values the outdoors and boating environment. You will play a key role in supporting our websites and multi-media content, contributing to integrated campaigns across various channels.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Develop, update, and enhance web pages using Content Management Systems (CMS) like WordPress, incorporating AI tools and modern design platforms such as Figma to expedite content and creative production.
  • Utilize working knowledge of HTML/CSS and low-code solutions to improve digital user experiences.
  • Implement and refine Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Search Engine Marketing (SEM) strategies, including AI-driven keyword research, content optimization, and performance monitoring in dynamic search landscapes.
  • Oversee and maintain multiple company websites, ensuring optimal performance, security, responsiveness, and a superior user experience across all devices.
  • Identify and resolve technical issues, collaborating with internal and external teams for timely solutions.
  • Employ analytics and AI-generated insights to track campaign performance, support A/B testing initiatives, and drive ongoing optimization and personalization efforts.
  • Manage and expand social media presence through strategic scheduling, social listening, and AI-assisted content creation tools.
  • Plan, construct, and deploy Email Direct Marketing (EDM) campaigns using marketing automation platforms, focusing on segmentation, personalization, and comprehensive reporting.

What Skills We're Looking For

  • Proficiency with creative software such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, and Figma, with a keen interest in exploring AI for content, design, and video generation.
  • Previous experience or exposure to CMS and eCommerce platforms (e.g., WordPress, Magento, Shopify), coupled with a strong desire to acquire new digital technology skills.
  • A solid understanding of SEO, SEM, and core digital marketing principles, alongside a genuine curiosity about the impact of AI on search and content strategies.
  • Some practical experience with email marketing platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Mailchimp, Klaviyo) or a strong motivation to develop expertise in this area.
  • Basic familiarity with analytics tools like Google Analytics and an eagerness to use data for performance enhancement.
  • An interest in Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO), testing methodologies, and improving overall digital user journeys.
  • A passion for creating digital content, including social media posts, videos, photography, or AI-generated media.
