Role overview
Kahn Media is looking for a Digital Marketing Specialist to join its paid media team. In this position, you will report to the Head of Digital Marketing and support the planning, launch, management, optimization, and reporting of campaigns across Google, Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, and other digital channels.
You will partner with teams across PR, content, creative, social media, and account management to build marketing programs that raise awareness, improve engagement, generate leads, and deliver measurable business outcomes for clients in the automotive, outdoor, luxury lifestyle, technology, and enthusiast sectors.
The company is seeking someone who is analytical, detail-oriented, organized, and motivated to keep learning. Prior agency experience is beneficial, and familiarity with cars, the outdoors, or enthusiast-focused brands is a plus.
Key responsibilities
- Set up, launch, and oversee paid advertising campaigns on platforms such as Google Ads, Meta, YouTube, LinkedIn, and similar channels.
- Research keywords, audiences, and retargeting opportunities to align campaigns with performance goals.
- Track campaign results, budgets, and spend pace to ensure efficient delivery.
- Review performance data to identify ways to strengthen campaign outcomes.
- Prepare reporting for clients and communicate key findings and recommendations.
- Support campaign planning, experimentation, and ongoing optimization efforts.
- Work closely with creative, social, PR, and account teams on integrated marketing initiatives.
- Keep up with platform changes, market trends, and new opportunities in digital marketing.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience managing paid digital advertising campaigns.
- Practical experience using Google Ads and Meta Ads Manager.
- Working knowledge of Google analytics tools and digital marketing measurement.
- Strong analytical ability, attention to detail, and project organization skills.
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines at the same time.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-driven attitude with a willingness to learn and develop professionally.
- Agency background is preferred.
- Exposure to LinkedIn Ads, Looker Studio, or Google Tag Manager is preferred.
- Understanding of SEO, content marketing, and conversion tracking is an advantage.
- Interest in automotive, outdoor, luxury lifestyle, or enthusiast markets is beneficial.
Work location
This position may be fully remote or hybrid, depending on experience, skills, and location. For hybrid arrangements, the role is based out of the Moorpark, California office.
