Based in New York City with international editions serving EMEA and Asia, Newsweek’s Adprime division is expanding its Sales Strategy & Client Services team. We are seeking an enthusiastic Digital Account Manager responsible for managing client portfolios, digital media campaign execution, and contributing to sales growth through client relationship management and proposal development. This role will serve as a key liaison between clients and internal teams, facilitating campaign success and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize digital media campaigns spanning display, mobile/tablet, OTT, pre-roll video, lead generation, and custom sponsorships.
- Oversee daily campaign performance metrics, advising clients on enhancements to meet KPIs and securing additional budgets and contract renewals.
- Collaborate closely with Ad Operations and Publisher Development teams to analyze campaign data and refine optimization tactics.
- Proactively troubleshoot and resolve campaign issues through effective teamwork and problem-solving.
- Generate comprehensive performance reports and provide regular updates to clients.
- Support sales efforts by identifying opportunities to upsell both new and existing product offerings.
- Manage DSP client relationships, addressing challenges and fostering account growth.
- Contribute to RFP responses by crafting media strategies and preparing detailed proposals using Excel and PowerPoint.
- Analyze client briefs to align advertising solutions effectively with their objectives.
- Utilize Data Management Platforms (DMPs) to segment audiences and project inventory availability for proposals.
- Coordinate with Publisher Development to secure media availabilities and create targeted site lists.
- Assist in building and maintaining a first-party data segment library and collaborate with third-party data providers for segment identification and inventory forecasting.
Qualifications and Desired Skills
- At least 3 years of experience in digital media, including campaign planning or management, preferably with DSP or managed service exposure.
- Strong ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and solve complex problems efficiently.
- Positive, collaborative team player with a proactive and dedicated work ethic.
- Excellent communication skills paired with strong attention to detail.
- Competent in data analysis and capable of conveying results clearly to clients and teams.
- A forward-looking mindset focused on enhancing client satisfaction.
- Experience with programmatic advertising and healthcare industry knowledge are advantageous.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
