It reaches around 100 million people every month through news, opinion, visuals, graphics, and video across multiple print and digital channels. Based in New York City, the company also operates international editions across EMEA and Asia.
Role Overview
The International Sales Representative will focus mainly on selling Thought Leadership and Special Reports, Event Sponsorships, and CEO Memberships. This position is centered on building revenue through premium sponsorship and content-partnership opportunities, while working with clients and internal teams to create commercial solutions that fit major events and editorial platforms.
This is a full-time position with working hours from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday. The role offers the flexibility to work from home anywhere in the UK.
Compensation includes a competitive salary plus commission.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and execute a sales plan aimed at increasing revenue from event sponsorships, webinars, and thought leadership or special report content.
- Prospect, approach, and close sponsorship deals with both new and existing clients, with a focus on strong partnership value and measurable return on investment.
- Consistently meet and go beyond individual and team sales goals.
- Develop trusted relationships with senior-level clients, including executives and marketing decision-makers.
- Guide clients through sponsorship options that support their brand strategy and audience reach.
- Build tailored sponsorship offerings that match client objectives and industry needs.
- Sell thought leadership products such as whitepapers, roundtables, keynote opportunities, and sponsored editorial content.
- Partner with internal content teams to produce premium content that strengthens clients’ market positioning.
- Drive sponsorship sales for conferences, summits, webinars, and other major events.
- Work with event managers to shape sponsorship packages that improve event exposure and audience engagement.
- Ensure sponsorship agreements are delivered successfully and provide value to both sponsors and events.
- Sell CEO membership packages internationally.
- Coordinate with the US Newsweek team when needed.
- Take ownership of additional projects assigned by the line manager.
- Perform any other reasonable duties required to support business needs.
Experience and Qualifications
- Demonstrated B2B sales experience, preferably in media, events, or sponsorship.
- Proven history of meeting revenue targets.
- Background in selling consultative, high-value solutions.
- Exposure to international clients and markets.
- Understanding of event sponsorship and content-led sales.
- Familiarity with thought leadership offerings such as whitepapers and webinars.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant area is preferred, along with a strong academic record.
