Job Summary

We are seeking a Detailer to join our team. This role involves maintaining the high standards of our facilities and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction through quality service and products. The position requires driving, detailing, and cleaning vehicles, with a focus on customer inquiries and complaint resolution.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive vehicle detailing, including exterior washing, waxing, and buffing.
• Vacuum vehicle interiors to remove dirt and debris.
• Clean upholstery and interior surfaces.
• Utilize air compressors and cloths for drying and applying protective chemicals.
• Apply dyes, paints, and waxes to protect vehicle interiors (leather/fabric).
• Clean and degrease engines and engine compartments.
• Maintain facility cleanliness to ensure high-quality service delivery.
• Provide excellent customer service, addressing inquiries and complaints promptly.
• Drive vehicles as needed for detailing and operational purposes.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned by management to meet operational demands.

Requirements

• Detail Specialist 1: Some prior detailing experience is required.
• Detail Specialist 2: A minimum of 2 years of detailing experience is necessary.
• Possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Demonstrate the ability to learn new processes quickly.
• Exhibit strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Ability to comprehend and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Show a genuine desire to handle customer vehicles with utmost care and respect.
• Commitment to punctuality and task completion during work hours.
• Proficiency in driving both automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
• Willingness to work Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays as required by production needs.
• Strict adherence to company uniform and grooming standards.

Working Conditions

• This is a physically demanding role requiring frequent bending, lifting, reaching, squatting, and repetitive entry/exit from vehicles.
• Work may be performed outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Involves moving numerous vehicles throughout the workday.
• Use of OSHA-approved cleaning agents and waxes.
• Requires continuous flexing of the spine, hands, wrists, and fingers.
• Occasional pushing, pulling, lifting, or carrying of objects up to 50 lbs.
• Requires clear verbal communication and auditory perception.
• Must possess visual acuity to identify minor imperfections in work.
• Ability to perform quality inspections on own work and that of colleagues.
• Must work with a sense of urgency to respect customer time.
