About the Role

Boyd Autobody & Glass is looking for a vehicle detailer to support collision repair operations in Lethbridge. This role plays an important part in preparing vehicles before production, cleaning and detailing them before customer handover, and helping keep the repair facility organized and efficient.

The company has been serving collision repair customers for over 30 years and operates multiple locations across Western and Central Canada. It emphasizes training, certification support, professional working conditions, and opportunities to grow within the business.

What You’ll Do

  • Wash vehicle exteriors by hand, with brushes, or using washing equipment.
  • Clean and polish windshields, windows, lights, floor mats, and exterior surfaces.
  • Protect vehicle finish by buffing, polishing, and applying wax.
  • Vacuum and shampoo interiors, freshen the cabin, and carry out light stain removal when needed.
  • Keep the shop tidy by sweeping floors and emptying garbage containers every day.
  • Maintain an orderly parking lot at all times.
  • Power wash the shop floor when needed to reduce visible dirt.
  • Organize vehicles in the parking lot daily, including keys, floor mats, and repair order signs.
  • Follow the WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan consistently to support quality, productivity, shop efficiency, and customer satisfaction metrics.

What You Need

  • A high school diploma or an equivalent qualification.
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong accuracy and close attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a busy, fast-moving environment.
  • Strong multitasking skills and the ability to stay effective under pressure.
  • A valid driver’s licence.
