About the role
U-Haul is hiring team members to clean, polish, and prepare its newest truck and trailer fleet so the vehicles stay in excellent condition for customers. This role is a strong entry point into the company, with room to learn, grow, and move into other positions over time.
The position also gives you access to hands-on learning through U-Haul’s Technician Training Program, including classes from Ford, GMC, and U-Haul. The company supplies the tools needed to do the work and emphasizes a supportive, long-term team environment.
U-Haul promotes a “Hire Fast Pay Fast” approach, meaning you can begin working quickly after a paid, hands-on working interview. A $100 hiring bonus is also offered.
As a detail specialist, you will use U-Haul’s proprietary technology to care for field vehicles while receiving the support needed to succeed and build a long-term career.
Responsibilities
- Wash, clean, and buff trucks and trailers.
- Remove decals from equipment that is leaving the fleet and get it ready for resale.
- Use approved safety gear and follow standard safety practices.
- Keep pace in a production-line style work environment.
- Assist in other tasks as needed under supervisor direction.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license.
