Role Overview

As a product specialist, you will leverage your customer service expertise and product knowledge to provide detailed information, guiding customers to make the best product selections. Your efforts will help satisfy customers while contributing to achieving sales goals, fostering a workplace where your analytical abilities are appreciated.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the store expert by delivering in-depth product knowledge to both customers and colleagues
  • Drive sales through promoting and recommending products, services, or installation plans tailored to customer needs
  • Maintain merchandise presentation by keeping shelves stocked and displays accurate
  • Prepare weekly promotional flyers
  • Manage order processing including entering customer orders, liaising with vendors for special orders, tracking order fulfillment, and resolving related issues
  • Deliver outstanding customer service by executing RONA’s service programs, following up post-purchase to ensure satisfaction, and assisting customers with locating, selecting, carrying, and loading products
  • Perform other duties necessary to ensure the smooth operation of the store

Candidate Profile

  • Previous experience in a related role is preferred
  • Strong customer service capabilities
  • Analytical aptitude to support decision-making and problem solving
