Position Overview
Join our dedicated wood yard team! Being active and working outdoors with a solid team, you will directly contribute to our success while maintaining excellent physical fitness. Your skills and positive attitude will ensure quality customer experiences and a safe, organized work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert advice and assistance to customers regarding lumber and building materials
- Help customers safely and efficiently load products
- Verify invoices and ensure correct products are delivered
- Perform daily yard maintenance including unloading trucks, sorting lumber, organizing inventory, cleaning, pricing, and maintaining pallets and stock
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment for colleagues and customers
- Carry out opening and closing duties for the yard as needed
- Perform all related tasks to ensure smooth store operations
Desired Skills and Qualifications
- Ability to lift at least 25 pounds
- Knowledge of building materials is considered a valuable asset
