Role overview
This position sits at the heart of store operations, with a focus on delivering an excellent shopping experience from the head office standards right through to the shop floor. It is suited to someone who leads by example and is ready for a step forward in their retail career.
What you will be responsible for
- Helping the Store Manager run the store smoothly on a day-to-day basis
- Working toward performance targets and key KPI measures
- Guiding, encouraging, and developing the store team
- Keeping the sales floor well presented and customer-ready
- Making sure stock availability stays at the right level
- Providing consistently strong customer service
What you need to bring
- Leaving Certificate or an equivalent qualification
- At least 2 years of management experience in a busy, fast-moving setting
- A full driving licence
- Strong motivation to work in a varied, high-pressure environment with clear targets and deadlines
- Very good communication and people skills
- Willingness to work flexible shift patterns
- Previous experience as an Assistant Store Manager is preferred, though not essential if you have the right mindset and attitude
