The role covers two separate shift patterns: 07:00 to 15:00 for letter deliveries or 10:00 to 17:30 for parcel deliveries. Because of operational needs, you must also be available to work one Sunday in three, from 08:30 to 16:00.
What the job involves
The role is physically active and involves walking for extended periods, working outdoors in all kinds of weather, and delivering items such as exam results, tax returns, wedding invitations, and online purchases. It is a community-focused job that supports local residents and small businesses while helping keep deliveries moving reliably every day.

A full UK manual driving licence is required, and you must have no more than 6 penalty points.
Pay and benefits
The role offers a guaranteed hourly rate of £13.68, paid monthly and adjusted to match your working hours. Benefits include 22.5 days of holiday that increase with service, a provided full uniform, a company pension with competitive contributions, development opportunities such as trainee manager roles and apprenticeship schemes, enhanced family leave support, 24/7 wellbeing support for you and your family, a range of retail and lifestyle discounts, and free stamps at Christmas.
