Reece Plumbing is a major Australian supplier of plumbing and bathroom products, backed by more than 10,000 team members across 900+ branches worldwide. For over a century, the business has supported trade professionals with reliable products and knowledgeable guidance, with a strong focus on the essential role plumbers play every day.
About the Role
As a member of the Trade Counter team in Katoomba, you will support plumbers and other trade customers by helping them source the products they need for construction and renovation work, while also handling tasks that keep the branch operating efficiently.
What You’ll Do
- Assist customers with product information and general service at the counter.
- Prepare quotes in person and over the phone.
- Carry out order picking, packing, and stock control duties.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe branch environment.
- Make occasional customer deliveries using a company vehicle.
What We’re Looking For
Ideal candidates will bring prior retail sales or customer service experience and enjoy supporting customers face-to-face and by phone. You should be comfortable picking orders, keeping displays updated, and ensuring the information you provide is accurate. Basic computer use is required, along with a willingness to learn new systems. A clean, valid driver’s licence is essential, and you must be open to working a range of shifts, including weekends. You’ll also be someone who wants to build a career locally, within the wider network, or at head office.
Perks and Benefits
- Bonuses linked to performance.
- Paid annual leave.
- Ongoing learning and development opportunities to support career growth.
- Generous staff discounts for bathroom or kitchen renovation purchases.
- Reece Boost cashback and discount offers on groceries, fuel, insurance, travel, and more.
- Paid parental leave.
Application Process and Additional Information
After you apply, you will be invited to a short chat-style interview. This is described as a low-pressure first interview alternative to a phone call, where you answer five questions and typically spend about 15 to 20 minutes completing it. It is best completed within 24 hours, though you can pause and return later if needed. After finishing, you will receive a personality profile that outlines your strengths. If the invitation does not appear in your inbox, you should check your junk or spam folder.
Reece Group is committed to fairness and offers support throughout the process. If you require any accommodations, you can contact [email protected] for assistance.
