Position Overview
This role is store-based and combines delivery, installation, product demonstration, and customer support. The work is varied and hands-on, with responsibilities both inside the store and out in the field. You may also assist with moving and picking up merchandise as needed.
Compensation
The stated pay range for this position is $16.00 to $17.00 per hour. What You Will Do
- Load, secure, and safeguard merchandise for transport.
- Deliver items, unload them, install them, and show customers how to use them.
- Operate the delivery vehicle safely and responsibly.
- Support store operations by helping move, install, and collect merchandise when needed.
What the Role Requires
- Strong communication skills.
- Basic familiarity with electronics.
- A genuine interest in helping customers.
- Ability to handle physical work, including lifting up to 50 lbs without assistance and up to 300 lbs with a dolly.
- Comfort working outdoors in different weather conditions, including rain and summer heat.
- A valid driver’s license; a CDL is not required.
- No overnight travel is expected.
Additional Requirements
- Minimum age requirement is 21 years old, or 18 years old in Canada.
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Must satisfy DOT certification requirements in the U.S.
