Role overview

Edon Management is looking for a Day Porter in Calgary, Alberta to help keep facilities clean, orderly, and professionally presented throughout the workday. The position suits someone who is hands-on, dependable, and attentive to detail, with a strong sense of service for tenants and visitors.

The organization has been part of Alberta’s real estate sector for over 30 years and operates as a large property management group with close to 900 team members. Its work spans more than 80 communities across Alberta, covering 18 million sq. ft. of property in 600+ buildings and tenant services at 500+ sites. Services continue to grow across areas such as caretaking, grounds, security, and project management.

What you will do

  • Keep shared and public areas clean in line with company standards and site contract expectations.
  • Coordinate with the building operations team to support day-to-day service goals.
  • Provide relief coverage at the front reception desk when needed.
  • Make sure the building is secured when it is not in use and report any unauthorized presence.
  • Handle urgent spillages or cleanup needs as soon as they arise.
  • Clean and polish entrances, glass doors, and other glass surfaces such as display cases.
  • Empty interior and exterior waste containers when required, including ashtrays and sand urns.
  • Assist with loading dock deliveries when reception is occupied.
