About the role
This position is for a marketing data scientist who will help measure, interpret, and improve the effectiveness of brand investments at a global scale. The role sits within the Data Science organization and partners closely with Brand Marketing, Creative, Media, and Research to shape measurement strategy and support major business decisions.
This is the first dedicated data science role focused on brand marketing, giving the hire the opportunity to build new analytics capabilities, work directly with senior marketing leadership, and influence how brand performance is understood across the business.
The role is open as a full-time position and may be based from a U.S. hub office or performed remotely within the United States.
Key responsibilities
- Design and manage end-to-end measurement frameworks, attribution approaches, and channel evaluation tools that help assess the effect of marketing spend across the full funnel and guide budget decisions.
- Work with Brand Marketing, Email, Lifecycle, Demand Gen, and Research stakeholders to define meaningful success metrics, identify insights, and support decisions grounded in data.
- Apply statistical and machine learning methods to solve marketing problems such as audience targeting, creative performance, customer engagement, and campaign measurement.
- Create dashboards, reporting systems, and analytical tools that make brand performance and business impact easy for stakeholders to understand.
- Convert complex analysis into practical recommendations for marketing leadership and executive audiences.
- Strengthen data quality, measurement infrastructure, and reporting processes so they can scale with a growing marketing team.
- Spot opportunities to improve marketing effectiveness, including audience selection and spend optimization, and bring evidence-based recommendations to senior planning discussions.
What we’re looking for
- At least 5 years of experience in Data Science or Marketing Analytics, especially supporting marketing teams and evaluating large-scale brand investments.
- Strong grounding in statistics, experimentation, causal inference, and the use of survey or qualitative research data.
- Advanced SQL skills, plus experience with Python, R, or similar tools for analysis and scalable measurement work.
- Clear evidence of influencing senior non-technical stakeholders and cross-functional partners through concise, actionable insights.
- The ability to translate technical findings into business recommendations that support strategy and execution.
- A proactive mindset and willingness to improve existing processes, systems, and measurement standards.
Preferred experience
- Exposure to media mix modeling or multi-touch attribution methods.
- Practical experience with marketing data platforms such as Segment, Amplitude, or comparable tools.
- Background in a B2B SaaS or product-led growth environment.
