Overview

Ndeipi Foundation is seeking an experienced Cyber Security Analyst for a part-time, on-site position in Toronto, Ontario. This role is crucial in securing our digital systems, including the Ndeipi App and the NDEIPI COIN, against various cyber threats.

Key Responsibilities

  • Continuously monitor network traffic to detect any irregular or suspicious activities.
  • Establish and uphold robust security controls to safeguard data and infrastructure.
  • Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to uncover system weaknesses.
  • Manage responses to security events and breaches by conducting detailed investigations and applying corrective measures.
  • Formulate and enforce comprehensive security policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Work closely with IT and development teams to integrate security best practices throughout operations.
  • Keep abreast of current cybersecurity threats, developments, and innovations.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Possession of a bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of four years of relevant work experience in cybersecurity or a related field.
  • In-depth knowledge of network security, risk management, and incident management.
  • Expertise with security monitoring technologies and methodologies.
  • Strong analytical abilities and adept problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills combined with effective interpersonal capabilities.
  • Capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively with teams.
