Overview
Ndeipi Foundation is seeking an experienced Cyber Security Analyst for a part-time, on-site position in Toronto, Ontario. This role is crucial in securing our digital systems, including the Ndeipi App and the NDEIPI COIN, against various cyber threats.
Key Responsibilities
- Continuously monitor network traffic to detect any irregular or suspicious activities.
- Establish and uphold robust security controls to safeguard data and infrastructure.
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to uncover system weaknesses.
- Manage responses to security events and breaches by conducting detailed investigations and applying corrective measures.
- Formulate and enforce comprehensive security policies, procedures, and standards.
- Work closely with IT and development teams to integrate security best practices throughout operations.
- Keep abreast of current cybersecurity threats, developments, and innovations.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Possession of a bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of four years of relevant work experience in cybersecurity or a related field.
- In-depth knowledge of network security, risk management, and incident management.
- Expertise with security monitoring technologies and methodologies.
- Strong analytical abilities and adept problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills combined with effective interpersonal capabilities.
- Capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively with teams.
