- Sunday: 09:00 to 13:00
- Wednesday: 08:00 to 18:00
- Saturday: 19:00 to 23:00
Pay and hours
Hourly pay begins at £14.18, increasing to £15.45 in stores located within the M25. Some locations may include extra payments. A minimum of 16 hours per week is guaranteed, and roles with 12 hours per week are also available.
What you will do
You will make sure every delivery reaches the customer in excellent condition and on time, while providing a pleasant service experience from the van to the doorstep. - Explain substitutions, order changes, or short-dated products to customers in a calm and friendly manner, including offering refunds where needed.
- Handle every item carefully and treat each order with the same attention you would give your own shopping.
- Deliver within the assigned time slot and provide courteous, natural service at the customer’s door.
Requirements
- Ability to build positive working relationships and contribute to a strong team atmosphere.
- A warm, welcoming manner with both customers and colleagues.
- Comfort with change and the ability to react quickly to evolving customer needs while on the road and in store.
- A valid UK, EU, or EEA driving licence, either full or automatic, held for at least 12 months.
- No more than 3 penalty points on the driving licence.
Perks and benefits
- Holiday entitlement starting at 20 days plus one personal day, rising to 22 days after 12 months, plus Bank Holidays.
- Flexible working options available from day one.
- Colleague Clubcard discount of 10%, increasing to 15% on pay-day weekends, with a second card for family sharing.
- Free wellbeing services to support mental, physical, and overall wellbeing.
- Life cover worth five times pay and a pension with matching contributions up to 7.5%.
- Access to a variety of benefits such as discounts, shares, and cycle-to-work schemes.
- Uniform provided, along with policies that support important life events.
