About the Company

ihateironing is a fast-growing, innovative, and award-winning business with ambitious plans for expansion. The company helps busy customers by collecting laundry, cleaning and ironing it, and delivering it back the next day.

Role Overview

Customer care is central to the company’s service, and this position plays an important part in keeping the customer experience consistently excellent. The organisation is hiring both Customer Care Associates and Senior Customer Care Associates, so applications are welcome from people at different stages of their customer service career.

Training

A three-week training programme will take place in London, and attendance is mandatory. Travel and accommodation during this training period will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a high volume of customer calls, including 50 or more each day.
  • Resolve issues that arise during customer interactions and service delivery.
  • Handle customer complaints and offer suitable solutions.
  • Work closely with dry cleaners and drivers to help maintain a high standard of service.
  • Use initiative and practical judgement to respond effectively to customer needs.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of prior experience in customer care.
  • Strong focus on detail and accuracy.
  • Good organisation and consistent punctuality.
  • Comfortable working as part of a team.
  • Honest, professional, and dependable in day-to-day work.
  • Prepared to put in steady, diligent effort.

Working Pattern

The position follows a combination of morning and evening shifts across the week. Weekend coverage is part of the rota, with one weekend worked out of every two.
