Job description

About the Role

KPMG Canada invites you to join their Contingent Labour Office (CLO), where professionals apply their expertise to facilitate efficient and risk-managed engagement of external contractors across all Canadian locations. The CLO manages over a thousand external resources annually, ranging from individuals to large organizations, focusing on a customer-oriented delivery while advising hiring managers on innovative workforce solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted advisor, leveraging technical knowledge to guide Hiring Managers in engaging contingent labor critical for project success.
  • Utilize vendor management technology to enhance workflow efficiency and optimize the use of CLO resources.
  • Drive process improvements, maintain updated documentation such as SOPs, forms, and knowledge articles, and educate related stakeholders on these resources.
  • Manage case intake, conduct due diligence including background checks and compliance verifications, and maintain open communication with all stakeholders throughout the contract lifecycle.
  • Respond promptly to inquiries and triage requests logically, demonstrating a customer-centric approach and promoting the CLO brand internally.

Qualifications and Experience

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in case management or a related function, ideally dealing with staffing agencies, contract labor, or contingent workforce.
  • Exceptional communication skills in English; bilingualism in French is preferred.
  • Proven ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders across different levels, manage priorities, and excel in a dynamic, high-volume work environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and quality in documentation and service delivery.
  • Comfortable working with various technologies, including vendor management systems such as Flextrack or Beeline, and proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Experience with ServiceNow is a plus.
  • A college or university degree relevant to the role is required.

Additional Information

Although this role is primarily remote, candidates may be required to attend in-office meetings one to two days per month. The position reports to the National Leader of CLO and demands a thorough understanding of contingent workforce policies and relevant legislation.

Location: Primarily remote within Canada, preference for candidates in or near Vernon, British Columbia.

Salary: Between $55,000 and $82,000 annually, with eligibility for bonuses. Salary within this band is determined by location, skills, and qualifications. The company also provides a comprehensive Total Rewards program.
