Role overview
This position sits within the TikTok LIVE MENA team in Dubai and focuses on strengthening the content ecosystem for agency partners across overseas live-streaming markets. The role centers on spotting emerging content patterns, improving live content standards, scaling effective operating models, and helping agencies build stronger live-streaming capabilities. It suits someone who understands live-streaming ecosystems, thinks strategically about content, and uses data to drive localized operational growth.
Key responsibilities
- Study the local content landscape in depth and use those insights to support growth across the market.
- Lead content-operation initiatives that raise content quality and audience engagement in line with global and regional direction.
- Partner with Trust & Safety and other internal teams to shape community-safety approaches and track potential risks across the content community.
- Review short-form in-app content, identify issues in content style, and work with Algo, Product Management, and Trust & Safety to support fixes.
- Track important local and international real-time events and maintain readiness to respond when urgent situations arise.
Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree or higher is required. Candidates should understand the local internet market, culture, and trends, and bring experience in safety-related work along with strong operational data analysis skills. Good collaboration habits and clear communication are also important.
Preferred background
Experience in vertical operations such as music, games, or similar content areas is preferred.
