Role Overview
As a Global Benefits Consultant, you will craft global benefit strategies and policies that align with client business goals. You will benchmark and design benefit programs throughout the APAC region, including medical and risk insurances, perquisites, allowances, and expatriate benefits. Your responsibilities will also include advising on optimal benefit funding strategies, delivering leading risk management solutions, and implementing advanced benefit technology systems.
You will lead merger and acquisition due diligence and integration projects, provide advisory on benefit data analytics, and design health and wellness strategies. Representing Aon's Global Benefits consulting services to the market and partnering with sales teams for business development opportunities will be key to your role. Strong collaboration with other internal teams within Global Benefits, Health & Benefits, Human Capital, and Risk Capital will be essential.
Managing strategic accounts for critical global benefit clients and mentoring junior consulting staff are also important facets of this position.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop global benefit strategies and policies tailored to client business objectives.
- Benchmark and devise benefit programs across APAC such as medical insurance and expatriate benefits.
- Advise on funding and risk management solutions for benefit programs.
- Design and implement innovative benefit technology solutions.
- Lead due diligence and integration in M&A projects.
- Provide data analytics advisory related to benefits.
- Create and execute health and wellness strategies.
- Promote Aon's Global Benefits consulting offerings and partner with sales teams on business development.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional internal teams to drive innovative solutions.
- Manage key client accounts and mentor junior consultants.
Qualifications and Experience
- Degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum of five years' experience in regional benefits or employee insurance consulting.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with senior and multicultural stakeholders.
- Expertise in statutory and market practice conditions across multiple countries.
- Strong stakeholder and project management capabilities for cross-border initiatives.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Financial services license or actuarial background is advantageous but not required.
