Role overview
This fixed-term, 6-month full-time position is based at Qantas Campus in Mascot. The role focuses on using customer data and insights to create stronger engagement and drive revenue growth for Qantas Business Rewards customers.
As a Consultant, Customer Engagement, you will make outbound B2B phone calls to Qantas Business Rewards members, identify opportunities from data, and help guide customers toward Qantas-first travel decisions. You will present relevant offers and products, strengthen program awareness, track engagement outcomes, and share market intelligence that can inform future decisions.
About Qantas Business Rewards
Qantas Business Rewards is designed to help Australian businesses get more value from travel and everyday spending. Members can earn Qantas Points on eligible flights and partner purchases, access savings on travel, enjoy lounge access, and receive exclusive offers. Points may be redeemed for flights, upgrades, and other rewards, supporting both the business and its people.
Key responsibilities
- Make outbound B2B calls to Qantas Business Rewards customers to lift engagement and spending.
- Use data-led insights to identify opportunities and influence travel choices in favour of Qantas.
- Promote the value of the Qantas Business Rewards program and relevant offers.
- Connect customers with tailored products and solutions suited to their needs.
- Track results and engagement levels to support ongoing performance.
- Help businesses understand and navigate the Qantas ecosystem.
- Share customer and market intelligence to support future investment decisions.
Experience and capability requirements
- 3 to 5 years of experience in outbound telephone sales or account management.
- Demonstrated success in meeting sales and performance targets.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and influencing abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with close attention to detail.
- Commercial awareness and the ability to interpret data and act on insights.
- Good working knowledge of MS Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Experience with CRM reporting and database management; Salesforce experience is preferred.
- Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Well-developed organisational skills and the ability to manage several priorities at once.
