Job Description

This role involves consistent, strategic content creation across multiple platforms, often simplifying complex financial products into clear and engaging messages. The ideal candidate will possess strong copywriting skills, campaign management abilities, and basic design proficiency, operating within established brand guidelines and content frameworks to deliver results efficiently. As the primary content and campaign production resource within the function, this role requires excellent planning and organizational skills to ensure content aligns with a structured planning process and adheres to brand guidelines through existing governance procedures.

  • Craft compelling copy for website pages, intranet content, email campaigns, press releases, and social media posts for all group entities.
  • Simplify intricate financial products and services into easily understandable and engaging language tailored for specific target audiences.
  • Ensure all content strictly adheres to the brand's voice, tone, and all relevant regulatory standards.
  • Develop event-specific content designed to attract key audiences across various channels, with potential attendance at industry events.
  • Assist in the creation of thought leadership pieces, case studies, and client success stories in collaboration with the Commercial and Sales departments.
  • Coordinate with Investor Relations, PR, and other content teams to ensure prompt updates to digital platforms following official announcements and publications.
  • Manage and update web content, including landing pages, news sections, insight articles, and Investor Relations announcements, using the CMS (WordPress/ProcessWire).
  • Write and meticulously proofread award submissions, working with PR agencies to identify and target significant industry awards.

Content Planning & Execution

  • Oversee and maintain the content calendar, ensuring a steady and strategic flow of content across all communication channels.
  • Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns that align with business objectives and key commercial priorities.
  • Collaborate with the Corporate Affairs team and external agencies to develop and refine messaging for diverse audiences, including media representatives.
  • Develop and launch multi-channel marketing campaigns aligned with business goals and commercial priorities across platforms like LinkedIn and Google Ads, with support from digital marketing agencies as needed.
  • Script and produce video and multimedia content, identifying subject matter experts and managing the production process.
  • Work with internal teams to strategize key messaging and content delivery for significant events, including pre-event, during-event, and post-event phases, and liaise with external partners for event support.
  • Utilize insights and reports generated by Corporate Affairs to inform content creation and outreach strategies.

Light-Touch Design & Asset Production

  • Adapt existing brand templates to efficiently produce daily visual content for various channels, including social media, adhering to established guidelines. Proficiency in InDesign or Canva is advantageous.
  • Escalate any design needs that extend beyond template-based production to the designated design support team.

Stakeholder Coordination

  • Engage with internal stakeholders, including sales, product development, and compliance teams, to gather requirements and deliver effective campaigns.
  • Collaborate with the compliance department to ensure all marketing content meets regulatory approval and internal governance standards.
  • Coordinate with Investor Relations and PR teams to guarantee consistency and timeliness of investor-facing and media communications.
  • Liaise with event organizers to secure necessary assets like images and facilitate social media amplification opportunities.
