Job Overview

We are looking for enthusiastic and energetic kitchen professionals who excel at delivering exceptional customer service and crafting creative culinary solutions for guests. This role is based at Sedra Arjaan by Rotana in Doha.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Chef de Partie or Demi Chef de Partie in daily kitchen operations and tasks.
  • Prepare food in accordance with menu specifications set by the Chef de Partie.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the work area according to hotel standards at all times.
  • Manage food inventory and control food costs within your designated section.
  • Execute daily mise-en-place and food production duties across various kitchen sections or satellite kitchens.
  • Follow guidance and directions from immediate supervisors to ensure daily tasks are completed efficiently.
  • Uphold the highest level of quality and consistency in food preparation, staying updated on new products, recipes, and preparation techniques.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen sections to meet needs related to cleanliness, waste reduction, and cost management.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Completion of a professional kitchen apprenticeship or formal chef training course.
  • Prior experience working in reputable hospitality establishments.
  • Proficient culinary skills with a solid understanding of food preparation, presentation, and preservation.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English.
