Job Overview

We are looking for enthusiastic and energetic kitchen professionals who excel in delivering exceptional customer service and creativity in culinary solutions. This opportunity is located at Sedra Arjaan by Rotana in Doha, Qatar.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily preparation of mis-en-place and food production across various sections of the main or satellite kitchens.
  • Collaborate closely with the Sous Chef and Executive Chef to manage daily kitchen tasks.
  • Adhere to instructions from supervisors to accomplish daily objectives.
  • Maintain impeccable standards and consistent quality in food preparation while staying updated on new recipes, products, and techniques.
  • Provide guidance and leadership to junior kitchen staff in food preparation, including overseeing buffet setups and special events.
  • Coordinate with different kitchen sections regarding cleanliness, control of wastage, and cost management.
  • Review daily food requirements, special functions, and last-minute events to ensure smooth operations.
  • Train and motivate subordinates daily to foster an efficient and cost-conscious work environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Completion of a professional kitchen apprenticeship or culinary training course.
  • Previous experience working in quality culinary establishments.
  • Strong culinary skills with proven expertise in food preparation, presentation, and preservation.
  • Effective English communication skills.
