About the Role

Join Techline Manufacturing as a CNC Machinist based in Scarborough, Ontario. This position requires hands-on work at the physical location, with no option for remote work. The role contributes to environmental sustainability, supporting efforts towards Canada's net-zero targets, fitting within the green jobs category.

Responsibilities

  • Precisely measure and layout workpieces for assembly preparation.
  • Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables accurately.
  • Set up, adjust, and operate production machinery and tools including both conventional and computer-controlled machines.
  • Maintain, repair, and calibrate precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy.
  • Record and report any deviations from defined specifications and tolerances.
  • Maintain detailed inspection records and prepare thorough inspection reports.
  • Verify machined parts dimensions utilizing accurate measuring devices such as micrometers and calipers.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements

  • Capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines while maintaining high accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Physical tasks including handling weights up to 45 kg.
