About The Role

We are seeking a dedicated Cleaning Litter Picker to maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of external areas. This role involves daily litter picking, sweeping entrances and pathways, and performing routine deep cleaning of hard surfaces. You will also be responsible for keeping drain areas clear of debris and ensuring a high standard of cleaning in offices, workshops, and sanitary facilities as directed. Effective communication with clients and supervisors is key to meeting service expectations and upholding company standards. A strong understanding of health and safety procedures is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain external areas in a clean and orderly condition daily.
• Conduct daily litter picking and sweeping of entrances and pathways.
• Perform routine deep cleaning of hard surfaces.
• Ensure drain areas are free from leaves and other obstructions.
• Demonstrate strong cleaning knowledge and lead by example.
• Undertake reactive cleaning of offices, workshops, and toilets to specified standards.
• Provide an effective cleaning service to the client.
• Liaise with clients and their representatives to meet service expectations.
• Work collaboratively within a team and use initiative to achieve cleaning standards.
• Follow instructions from supervisors and managers, adhering to company policies.
• Review work schedules with the Cleaning Supervisor.
• Uphold all company policies and procedures.
• Promote and practice Health & Safety procedures.
• Complete quality audits and reports as required.

Skills and Qualifications

• Previous experience in a cleaning role is required.
• Demonstrated experience in team management and adherence to Health & Safety standards is advantageous.
