Role overview
This position is focused on maintaining a clean, welcoming living environment for residents at Timber Terrace in North Cowichan, British Columbia. The cleaner plays a key part in supporting tenant wellbeing by keeping shared spaces tidy and assisting with day-to-day upkeep. Key duties
- Keep building entrances and hallways clean and presentable.
- Carry out end-of-month deep cleaning tasks for appliances, walls, carpets, blinds, windows, baseboards, lighting, bathrooms, and cupboards.
- Attend pre-move-out and annual inspections to prepare cleaning estimates.
- Handle minor maintenance tasks when needed, such as touch-up painting or replacing lights.
- Help maintain the outside appearance and general condition of the property.
- Take on any other related duties assigned.
Required knowledge and abilities
- Familiarity with different cleaning products and their use.
- Comfort using basic computer tools.
- Willingness and ability to travel between sites when required.
Compensation and benefits
The hourly wage starts at $19.20 and can go up to $24.00, depending on experience, education, and skills.
