Role overview
Broadstreet Properties is hiring a Cleaner for its Selkirk Meadows apartment community in Selkirk, Manitoba. In this position, you’ll play a key part in supporting tenant wellbeing by keeping shared areas clean, presentable, and welcoming. This role is well suited to someone with a strong eye for detail who enjoys creating a positive environment for others.
Key responsibilities
- Keep building entrances and hallways clean and well maintained.
- Carry out month-end deep cleaning of appliances, walls, carpets, blinds, windows, baseboards, lighting, bathrooms, and cupboards.
- Attend pre-move-out and yearly inspections to prepare cleaning estimates.
- Handle minor repair tasks when needed, such as painting or replacing lights.
- Help maintain the outside appearance and general upkeep of the building.
- Take on additional duties as needed.
Skills and qualifications
- Working knowledge of cleaning products and their proper use.
- Basic computer literacy.
- Ability to travel between sites when required.
Compensation and benefits
The wage range for this position is $16.80 to $21.00 per hour, with the exact rate depending on your skills, education, and experience.
