About the Role

Zurich North America is looking for a personable, driven Customer Care Professional to join its Claims Call Center team in early August 2026. This role is focused on helping customers with claims-related questions and first notice of loss reporting, and it includes a thorough 6-week training program delivered fully remotely. Candidates must live in the United States, with preferred time zones of CST, PST, and MST.

What You’ll Do

  • Handle first notice of loss claim reports submitted through phone and non-phone channels quickly and accurately.
  • Work through complicated claims questions and issues, and escalate or involve the right people when a matter needs additional support.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external contacts to share information, verify details, and resolve concerns efficiently.
  • Offer ideas and input that help improve the quality of customer service across the team.
  • Follow established procedures and remain aligned with company risk and compliance requirements.

Work Schedule

  • This is an 8-hour shift role.
  • Operating hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM Central Standard Time.
  • The job is fully remote, including training.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Hourly pay range: $17.79 to $21.64.
  • Short-term incentive bonus eligibility is 5%.

Home Office Requirements

  • A dedicated workspace that is quiet and free from distractions is required.
  • A stable high-speed internet connection with at least 5 Mbps upload and 10 Mbps download speed is required.

Basic Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 6 months of customer service experience.
  • Experience with data entry.

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least 6 months of call center experience.
  • Strong data entry ability and typing speed of 32 WPM or higher.
  • Comfort using Windows-based systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to move between multiple screens and browsers efficiently and accurately.
  • Clear comprehension, professional presence, and strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
  • Insurance knowledge is preferred.
