About the Role

Zurich is a global insurer with a broad footprint across local and international markets, serving individuals, small and mid-sized businesses, large enterprises, and multinational clients. The company is looking for confident, energetic, and self-driven customer care professionals to join its Claims Call Center team in early August 2026. This role includes a thorough six-week training program designed to prepare you for success from the start.

All selected candidates must reside in the United States. The preferred time zones for this position are CST, PST, and MST.

What You’ll Do

  • Record and handle first notice of loss claim reports submitted through Zurich’s phone-based and non-phone channels with accuracy and speed.
  • Work through complicated claims questions and concerns, and know when to escalate them or involve additional support to deliver clear guidance to customers and teammates.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and outside contacts to exchange information, verify details, and close out issues efficiently.
  • Share observations and suggestions that help improve the quality of customer service.
  • Adhere to company procedures and follow risk and compliance requirements at all times.

Shift and Work Setup

This is a fully remote position, and training is also remote. The schedule is an eight-hour shift within operating hours of 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM Monday through Friday, based on Central Standard Time.

Compensation and Benefits

The role offers a national-average hourly pay range of $17.79 to $21.64, along with 5% short-term incentive bonus eligibility. Zurich also notes that employees may qualify for annual merit increases and bonus opportunities. Additional benefits include strong PTO, 401(k) match, career mobility, and medical, vision, and dental coverage. Overtime may be available.

Basic Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 6 months of customer service experience.
  • Experience with data entry.

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least 6 months of call center experience.
  • Strong data entry ability, including typing at 32 words per minute or faster.
  • Comfort using Windows-based systems and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Ability to move quickly and accurately between multiple screens and browsers.
  • Good listening and reading comprehension, along with a professional presence.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
  • Prior insurance knowledge is helpful.

Work From Home Requirements

  • A dedicated workspace that is quiet and free from distractions.
  • A stable high-speed internet connection with at least 5 Mbps upload and 10 Mbps download speeds.
