Children's Community Physiotherapist

Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated full-time Physiotherapist to join the Children & Young People’s Community Physiotherapy Service based in Manchester. This position involves providing expert physiotherapy care to children and adolescents aged 0–18 in various community settings such as clinics, homes, and schools.

Key Responsibilities

• Function independently as a clinician to assess and treat children and young people with complex health needs.
• Handle a broad paediatric caseload encompassing neurodevelopmental and musculoskeletal disorders.
• Design and implement personalized, evidence-led care plans in cooperation with patients and their families.
• Utilize advanced clinical reasoning and analytical skills to effectively manage complex cases.
• Collaborate closely with educational institutions, families, and multi-disciplinary teams to ensure integrated care provision.
• Adhere strictly to professional standards and guidelines set by HCPC and other national bodies.

Candidate Profile

• Possession of a Physiotherapy degree and current HCPC registration.
• Strong enthusiasm for paediatric care and working with children and young people.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and clinical decision-making abilities.
• Capability to work autonomously while actively supporting a positive team environment.
• A commitment to continuing professional development within paediatric physiotherapy.
