About the Role

Mediix is seeking a dedicated and experienced Physiotherapist to join a well-established clinic located in Sydney's Northern Beaches on a full-time basis. This opportunity involves delivering specialized musculoskeletal physiotherapy (MSK) care, focusing on rehabilitation and enhancing patients' quality of life through personalized treatment and support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough evaluations of patients’ physical conditions and develop tailored treatment plans.
  • Administer hands-on therapy using a variety of physiotherapeutic methods and modalities.
  • Design and instruct exercise programs to aid patients in regaining strength and mobility.
  • Track and document patient progress objectively throughout their rehabilitation journey.
  • Provide education to patients and their families on self-care techniques and exercises for ongoing home management.
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary health professionals including doctors, nurses, and occupational therapists to deliver integrated patient care.
  • Remain informed about the latest physiotherapy research and innovations, and engage actively in continuing professional education.

Requirements

  • Possession of a bachelor's degree or higher qualification in Physiotherapy.
  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication capabilities.
  • Capacity to operate effectively both independently and within a team environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage time efficiently.
  • Dedication to providing empathetic and patient-focused care.
