Job description

Role Overview

This is an interim Chief Product Officer assignment based in London for a 3-month period. The company is an AI-native SaaS business that helps organisations turn consumer insight into action through a self-service research platform used by major enterprise customers across technology, financial services, consumer goods, and media.

The organisation has already secured strong venture backing and is now moving from a successful research product into a broader AI-led consumer intelligence platform. Its next phase will use autonomous AI agents to streamline research design, audience selection, analysis, and reporting, with the goal of reshaping how companies make decisions.

This role reports directly to the CEO and carries significant influence across the business. The successful leader will set the product direction, guide the evolution toward a portfolio of AI-native products, and help build a product function that can deliver innovation at scale.

Product Strategy and Vision

You will be responsible for shaping and communicating a clear long-term product direction that supports commercial goals. The role involves building a multi-product strategy centred on AI-enhanced customer experiences, turning market opportunities and user needs into practical roadmaps, and making investment choices that balance innovation, customer value, and business return.

AI Product Innovation

Part of the mandate is to embed AI-first thinking throughout the product organisation. You will promote the use of generative AI, large language models, and agent-based workflows across the platform, while creating products that remove complexity from customer processes. A strong culture of experimentation, fast learning, and ongoing improvement is expected.

Leadership and Organisation

The position requires leadership of Product and Design teams, including coaching, mentoring, and scaling high-performing people. You will help shape an accountable and customer-led product organisation, put in place effective operating models and governance, and develop future product leaders through empowerment and support.

Product Delivery

You will oversee the full product lifecycle, from discovery through launch and post-launch optimisation. Close partnership with Engineering will be essential to ensure quality execution, while collaboration with Customer Success, Sales, and Marketing will help drive adoption and commercial impact. Product initiatives will need to align with business objectives and measurable success criteria.

Executive Leadership

As a senior member of the Executive Leadership Team, you will work closely with the CEO and Board on strategy and long-term growth. The role also contributes to strategic planning, investment choices, and future opportunities such as acquisitions and new product lines.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will combine strategic judgment, commercial awareness, and strong product expertise. This role is best suited to someone who has led product organisations in fast-growing B2B SaaS companies, built AI-enabled or data-heavy software products, and defined product strategy for ambitious growth.

You should have experience scaling Product and Design teams during periods of rapid expansion, a strong customer mindset, and the ability to balance user needs, technical constraints, and commercial priorities. Experience working closely with executive teams and Boards is important, along with strong communication, stakeholder management, and an entrepreneurial approach suited to a high-growth environment.

Assignment Details

This is an interim contract engagement for 3 months. The role is based in London and follows a hybrid working setup.

Additional Information

The company is well funded, has a healthy balance sheet, and is entering a major growth phase. Its platform is already trusted by hundreds of enterprise customers, including widely recognised brands. This opportunity offers the chance to help define the future of AI-powered decision-making and influence a business with significant momentum.
