Job description
About the Company
DeltaCore Strategies is a focused investment strategy business centered on cryptocurrency derivatives. It offers advanced trading approaches, market intelligence, and risk management support to high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and eligible investors looking for digital asset exposure.
The firm does not take custody of client assets or directly manage client funds. Instead, it provides performance-oriented strategy solutions backed by deep market knowledge, sophisticated analytics, and institutional-level operating practices designed to deliver long-term client value. As the organization expands across North America and overseas markets, it is assembling an elite leadership team to enable scalable growth, operational strength, and disciplined execution.
Role Overview
The Chief Financial Officer will sit on the executive leadership team and own the company’s full financial agenda, including strategy, planning, risk oversight, and alignment with applicable regulations. The position calls for a senior finance leader with hands-on exposure to digital assets, derivatives, or alternative investment structures, and the ability to thrive in a globally distributed, high-growth environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct financial strategy, planning, and forecasting to support fast yet sustainable expansion.
- Create and oversee the financial operating framework, covering accounting, reporting, treasury, and internal control systems.
- Lead budgeting and capital allocation decisions to ensure resources are used efficiently.
- Design and maintain financial models tied to performance-linked revenue and strategy offerings.
- Ensure adherence to U.S. and international financial rules, tax requirements, and reporting standards.
- Work closely with executive peers on strategic efforts such as growth initiatives, partnerships, and possible capital raising.
- Set up and maintain risk controls, especially where crypto market exposure and derivatives are involved.
- Coordinate with external auditors, attorneys, tax specialists, and banking or financial partners.
- Put in place robust governance and reporting standards appropriate for sophisticated clients and stakeholders.
- Deliver analysis on market conditions, liquidity trends, and financial risks affecting the digital asset ecosystem.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline is required; an MBA, CPA, or CFA is strongly preferred.
- A minimum of 20 years of progressive experience in senior finance leadership roles such as CFO or VP Finance is expected.
- Background in crypto, digital assets, hedge funds, derivatives trading, or fintech is highly desirable.
- Strong command of financial reporting standards such as GAAP and IFRS, along with regulatory environments.
- Demonstrated success in building and scaling financial operations in high-growth or startup settings.
- Solid expertise in financial modeling, treasury management, and performance-based revenue structures.
- Comfort working with risk management practices in volatile or leveraged markets.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote, fast-moving, globally distributed organization.
What We Offer
- An opportunity to join an early-stage, fast-growing crypto investment strategy firm.
- Meaningful influence over the company’s strategic direction and financial structure.
- A fully remote, flexible work arrangement for U.S.-based professionals.
- Competitive executive compensation with performance-linked incentives.
- A collaborative, high-performance culture with international exposure.
