About the Role

Join Home Instead as a compassionate Caregiver serving the Lindsay, Peterborough, Cobourg, and Port Hope areas in Ontario. This role focuses on enhancing seniors' lives by providing meaningful companionship and practical assistance to support their independence at home.

Compensation and Benefits

• Hourly wage ranges between $17.60 and $23.00, with additional premium pay on weekends.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and emotional support through active engagement and conversation.
• Assist with personal care such as hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation.
• Offer medication reminders in alignment with established care plans.
• Help maintain a clean and safe living environment by performing light housekeeping tasks.
• Transport clients to appointments and assist with errands including grocery shopping.

Candidate Requirements

• Possession of a valid Ontario driver’s license (G2/G) and reliable vehicle access.
• Successful completion of a criminal background check.
• Previous caregiving experience considered an advantage.
• A sincere dedication to caregiving and openness to professional growth.
