Job description
Overview
Home Instead is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide one-on-one support to older adults in their homes across Pickens and Oconee counties. This is a chance to do work that builds real relationships while helping seniors with daily living needs.
The role offers flexible scheduling, paid training, and a supportive team environment. Prior experience is not required, as training is provided.
Shift Options
Caregivers can choose from morning, afternoon, or overnight shifts. Shift lengths available are 4, 6, 8, or 12 hours, allowing the schedule to be matched to personal availability.
Responsibilities
- Assist with personal care and everyday routines.
- Prepare meals and help with errands when needed.
- Provide companionship and emotional encouragement.
- Support clients who need memory care assistance.
Requirements
- A caring, dependable, and responsible attitude.
- Ability to complete background checks and drug screening.
- Reliable transportation is preferred.
- No prior certification is required because paid training is provided.
