Job description

Role overview

Join a fast-growing airline group as cabin crew based in Belfast. This role is part of a network of more than 16,000 cabin crew members across 90+ operating bases, serving over 600,000 passengers on more than 3,600 flights every day. The position is focused on delivering high-quality in-flight service while keeping safety as the top priority.

No previous experience is needed. Full training is provided at no cost, giving you the core skills required to work on board and earn your Cabin Crew Wings once training is completed.

What the job involves

You will work in a customer-facing, safety-critical environment and be expected to manage both early and late shifts. Early duty may begin as early as 5:00 AM, while late rostered duties may not finish until midnight. The role is ideal for someone who enjoys a busy setting, likes helping people, and brings energy and enthusiasm to service work.

This role also offers clear career progression, with potential future paths such as Cabin Supervisor, Base Supervisor, Regional Manager, and even senior inflight leadership roles.

Assessment process

As part of recruitment, candidates must complete a compulsory English proficiency test and a situational judgment test. Failing to complete either assessment will prevent progression to the interview stage.

Requirements

  • You must have the unrestricted right to live and work in the UK and/or the freedom to travel across the Ryanair network.
  • Applicants should be approximately between 5'2" (157 cm) and 6'2" (188 cm) tall.
  • You need to be able to swim 25 metres unaided and also support another person in the water.
  • Strong work ethic, flexibility, and a warm, outgoing manner are important.
  • You should be comfortable working on a rotating roster.
  • You must enjoy dealing with the public and be able to deliver excellent service with a positive, can-do approach.
  • Good spoken and written English is required, along with the ability to pass an English language assessment.
  • A genuine interest in travel and meeting new people will help you succeed in this role.

Benefits

  • Free internationally recognised cabin crew training.
  • A paid training allowance.
  • Uncapped sales bonus.
  • Highly discounted unlimited staff travel.
  • A fixed roster pattern.
  • The chance to build experience in an exciting and memorable career.
  • Opportunities to explore new places and cultures with colleagues during time off.
  • Free uniform in the first year, followed by an annual uniform allowance.
  • Job security with a financially stable airline.

Additional information

The company highlights that this is a rewarding but demanding position where safety comes first. It also emphasises the scale of the airline group, the volume of daily flights, and the value of joining a large cabin crew community.
