Role overview
Ryanair Engineering Germany GmbH is seeking an Aircraft Mechanic for its Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER) base. The company was established in 2018 and operates as a wholly owned subsidiary of Ryanair. Its engineering teams handle maintenance for Ryanair aircraft across several locations in Germany.
The wider Ryanair group operates a fleet of 590 modern aircraft, including Boeing 737NG, Boeing 737 MAX 10, Boeing 737-8200 Game Changer, and Airbus A320 models, and plans to add more than 300 aircraft by 2030.
What you will do
You will support line maintenance activities under supervision, using specialist systems and carrying out aircraft work in accordance with instructions and operational needs.
- Work with specialist IT tools such as AMOS, eLearning platforms, and myboeingfleet.
- Install and remove aircraft system components as directed.
- Carry out adjustments on aircraft systems when instructed.
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks under supervision.
- Assist with fault finding and troubleshooting as required.
Requirements
The role calls for practical aircraft maintenance experience and the ability to work in a shift-based environment. Applicants must also meet the legal and language criteria below.
- Prior experience working on Boeing aircraft is preferred.
- Willingness to work shifts is required.
- A valid EU/EEA passport with unrestricted rights to live and work in the European Union is necessary.
- A current EU driving licence is required.
- Good written and spoken English skills are expected.
- A valid German security clearance under Section 7 of the German Aviation Security Act is desirable.
