Job description

About the Company

Aussie has been assisting over 1.5 million Australians in owning their homes for more than three decades. Expanding beyond loans, Aussie now offers services that support clients in finding, buying, and owning properties through a rapidly growing Buyer’s Agency.

Role Overview

As a Retail Buyer’s Agent based at an Aussie Store in Newcastle, you will collaborate closely with mortgage brokers and store teams to convert customers with approved finance into successful property owners. You will effectively manage your own territory and client referrals, supported by Aussie's trusted brand and advanced technology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with clients who are ready to buy and identify their property requirements.
  • Locate properties through various channels including on-market, pre-market, and off-market sources.
  • Perform thorough property research and due diligence.
  • Oversee negotiations and coordinate the buying process from initiation to completion.
  • Develop strong partnerships with industry stakeholders.
  • Provide exceptional service to build client trust and encourage repeat business.
  • Collaborate with brokers to align client goals and timing effectively.
  • Conduct buyer strategy sessions and customize property briefs tailored to client needs.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Must possess a Class 1 or Full Real Estate License, or an equivalent certification.
  • Demonstrated success in managing at least 20 complete residential property transactions.
  • Established networks to access off-market and pre-market property opportunities.
  • In-depth knowledge of local real estate market dynamics and buyer behavior.
  • Strong negotiation abilities that foster trust and yield favorable results for clients.

Preferred Attributes

  • Experience as a property buyer or investor, understanding the client side of transactions.
  • Familiarity with off-market properties or working with investor clients.
  • Ability to thrive in an environment that offers high autonomy and rewarding outcomes.

Additional Information

  • Receive warm, finance-approved leads through close collaboration with mortgage broker teams, eliminating cold prospecting or self-generated pipelines.
  • Access to Property Explorer tools offering real-time data, growth analysis, and investment insights to create appraisals quickly.
  • Benefit from unmatched market coverage, including over 11 million properties nationwide and 140,000 live listings on par with leading platforms.
  • Opportunity to establish yourself as the leading buyer's agent in your local community, supported by national marketing and regional support.
  • Competitive earning potential scaling with deal volume, supported by streamlined tools to reduce administrative tasks.
  • Continuous professional development via the BA Academy, negotiation coaching, and daily collaboration with a broker team.
