Role overview
This is a 6-month fixed-term opportunity for an experienced procurement professional to support category managers on sourcing activity tied to data centre build services. The position is full time and based onsite in Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland. The daily rate is €265.
What you will do
- Assist Procurement Category Managers with running RFQ activities from the initial request through supplier selection and award.
- Set up, issue, and oversee RFQs for assigned categories while meeting timeline and governance expectations.
- Handle supplier communication during the tender cycle, including clarification handling and bid review coordination.
- Support the full quotation-to-onboarding journey for suppliers.
- Keep sourcing records accurate and maintain documentation that meets audit standards.
- Support supplier onboarding, day-to-day engagement, and ongoing relationship management alongside category managers.
- Track supplier performance and help resolve routine supplier issues.
- Work with internal teams and external partners to make sure procurement needs are clearly understood and delivered.
- Provide support before and after contract award across categories to keep procurement operations running smoothly.
- Resolve purchase order escalations and invoice-related queries promptly.
- Assist with contract roll-out so sourcing outcomes translate effectively into operational delivery.
- Follow procurement policies, compliance requirements, and recognised sourcing best practices.
- Contribute to reporting on sourcing activity, savings, and supplier performance.
What we are looking for
- Previous experience in a Buyer, Procurement Coordinator, or Procurement Operations position.
- Solid knowledge of RFQ handling and wider procurement lifecycle activities.
- Background in busy, high-volume procurement settings.
- Ability to juggle several priorities at once.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Careful attention to detail with a strong focus on governance and compliance.
- Experience with procurement platforms such as SAP, Ariba, or Coupa is an advantage.
