Role Summary
In this position, you will act as a key part of the sales funnel by identifying opportunities, generating leads, and qualifying potential customers. You will speak with senior stakeholders, develop relationships over time, and ensure qualified prospects are handed over to the closing team.
Key Duties
- Create new global sales leads through outbound cold calling.
- Carry out follow-up outreach campaigns to uncover fresh business opportunities.
- Maintain accurate activity records and pipeline updates in Salesforce.
- Book meetings and earn £175 commission for each meeting arranged.
- Use sales and negotiation skills to move prospects forward.
Candidate Profile
The right person will already have experience as a BDR, preferably in IT services, and should be comfortable approaching new contacts by phone. Strong negotiation ability, a polished telephone manner, and clear communication skills are essential. The role also requires the ability to travel to Reading and work from the office five days per week.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary range for this position is £28,000 to £30,000, with additional commission, holiday entitlement, and pension benefits.
