About the Role

JFrog is looking for a motivated Business Development Representative to join its expanding Sales Development group. In this position, you will work closely with Sales and Marketing to create new opportunities for JFrog’s solutions through outbound outreach, prospecting, email engagement, calling, and follow-up on inbound leads. The role is based in Sydney, with coverage for the ANZ region.

You will be part of a fast-moving environment where your efforts help bring JFrog’s DevSecOps and AI/ML offerings to market and support companies such as Amazon, Google, and Netflix as they solve important software delivery and security challenges.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first touchpoint for prospective customers and introduce them to JFrog’s products and value proposition.
  • Assess prospect organizations, understand their environment, and identify business needs that can be turned into opportunities.
  • Research accounts before outreach to improve targeting and engagement.
  • Connect with prospects by phone, email, and social channels.
  • Build pipeline through outbound prospecting and response handling for inbound leads.
  • Keep Salesforce records current to support reporting, pipeline management, and forecasting.
  • Partner with Sales and Marketing to refine approaches for generating qualified prospects.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of B2B or B2D SaaS business development experience, with a demonstrated record of success; exposure to selling deep-tech products to technical audiences is preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with prospecting, phone outreach, and email campaigns for lead generation.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with good interpersonal ability.
  • A self-driven approach with the ability to contribute both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent organization, time management, and multitasking skills.
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce and sales automation platforms such as Salesloft or Outreach.
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Advanced spoken and written English communication skills.
