Business Development Manager - MEA

As a Business Development Manager for the Middle East and Africa (MEA), based in Saudi Arabia (Riyadh or Dhahran), you will play a pivotal role in influencing early specifications in extensive, long-term hospitality and infrastructure projects across the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage proactively with key consultants and design firms ahead of Request for Quotation (RFQ) stages to influence architectural and technical standards incorporating Belden solutions.
• Develop and nurture strong relationships focusing on network, operational technology (OT), and cybersecurity framework design during early project phases.
• Achieve early identification and visibility of large-scale, specification-driven projects and convert these into qualified pre-RFQ business prospects.
• Identify and feed high-value mega project opportunities to the Commercial teams, ensuring a well-qualified sales pipeline.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

• Possess a degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or equivalent professional background emphasizing commercial expertise.
• Demonstrate a proven commercial track record, including experience in consultant engagement, specification-based selling, and infrastructure-related projects.
• Have international experience within medium to large matrix organizations, collaborating with cross-functional and global teams.
• Exhibit an agile mindset with excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong analytical and organizational abilities, and thrive in dynamic, metric-driven environments.
• Fluency in English is mandatory, accompanied by proficiency in at least one additional pertinent language.
