Job description
Role overview
As a Business Consultant with L’Oréal’s Professional Products Division, you will act as a trusted strategic partner for the L’Oréal Professionnel and Kérastase salon network. Working from Melbourne and reporting to the Regional Manager, your focus will be to grow the business and help salon partners achieve stronger results.
What you’ll do
- Deliver monthly sales targets and KPI outcomes by managing an existing customer base and actively developing new business prospects.
- Create value for salon partners by strengthening relationships, supporting their growth with professional marketing input, and introducing relevant promotional initiatives.
- Independently oversee the Melbourne Metro territory, with travel required to Ballarat, Horsham, and Bendigo, while using the CRM platform for administration and reporting.
What we’re looking for
We are seeking an energetic, driven professional who enjoys building connections and delivering measurable results. The right candidate will be proactive, self-directed, and comfortable working both on their own and within a team.
- Solid sales and commercial understanding, with prior experience in a comparable sales position, preferably in hair care or FMCG; a Cert III in hairdressing is a strong advantage.
- Confident negotiation and communication abilities at a senior level.
- Proven ability to develop and maintain productive, long-term client relationships.
- A strong focus on performance, targets, and business outcomes.
- Capacity to work autonomously, manage time well, take initiative, meet new contacts, and open new accounts.
Why join
- Opportunities to step outside your comfort zone and grow beyond what you thought possible.
- Early ownership and meaningful responsibility from day one.
- An inclusive workplace that welcomes people of all ethnicities, backgrounds, ages, religions, genders, sexual orientations, and abilities.
- The chance to contribute to brands and initiatives that support social and environmental impact.
